BREAKUP

A 4-pages comic published in The Northern Gaze, a comics anthology edited by Kim Edgar and published by Hecate Press (Dawson City, YT). 

In this story, the narration is purposely disconnected from the images, confronting a definitive story of death with the never-ending cycle of life, in the context of spring breakup in the Yukon. This story is inspired from the tragic reality of those bodies found on the shore of Yukon lakes and rivers every spring.
