The Explorer (2020) is a mixed media drawing, combining the use of black ink, colored inks and watercolors. The piece is a tribute to all the women who took part in the Yukon Gold Rush back in the days. It is also dedicated to all the women who keep exploring, day after day. The gigantic gold "nugget" held by the woman also expresses how the Yukon is one of the rare places in the world where you can look for your dreams and find them.
